Improv saved my life. I was an anxious wreck. I'd feel incredibly anxious, to the point of seizures, panic attacks, hospital visits, and incredibly sad, lonely, disconnected, and hopeless.
I signed up for an improv class and my life was never the same.
Over the past ten years I've been practicing improv comedy and teaching others to incorporate improv comedy principles into their work and lives. I've led workshops for tens of thousands of people around the world, at large companies and small ones, Fortune 500s, universities, and nonprofits. I even gave a TED talk about it. Along the way I added elements of neurolinguistic programming, mindfulness, and other research and performance backed methods to really make improv, Improve. We're "improv" + "e" because we're using improv to effect and empower positive change and, well, improvements.
Improve was created to help people improve their lives. I needed something like this, and so I've created a way to help others improve, find more joy, freedom, and connection in their lives.
I hope you'll say "yes, and" improve with us.
